LAS VEGAS ATTRACTIONS
Visiting Sin City
They say, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”. However,
if you have ever visited Sin City, you know that you will want to tell
everyone about your great time in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is full of attractions
both in and near the city. One thing is certain; you will never run short
of things to do when you visit this city. There is something for everyone,
whether you are going for a romantic couple’s getaway, a wild Las
Vegas bachelor party or a nice, family vacation.
The Las Vegas Strip
When you visit Las Vegas, you will undoubtedly want to visit the 4-1/2
mile area most known as The Strip. This is where most of the action takes
place-twenty four hours a day. The major attractions are on the Las Vegas
strip, including, but not limited to casinos, notably Caesar’s Palace,
amusement parks, museums, shopping malls, and nightclubs. While many of
the hotels in the area host shows, as do the night clubs, it is a city
that is impossible to get bored in with anything and everything happening
at anytime, anywhere. If you are staying on The Strip, you will find that
the Las Vegas attraction map will show almost everything that you can
do and most of it will be within easy walking distance. If you don’t
want to “hoof it”, cabs are found in abundance along The Strip,
mostly in front of the hotels and resort casinos.
Low Cost or Free Attractions
Not only will you find pricey shows in Las Vegas, you can spend you day
(and nights) finding plenty of free attractions, too. While gambling is
certainly not free, many casinos have a special section of penny or nickel
slot machines. Imagine how much time you can spend with only a few bucks!
Another great and free activity located along The Strip is the Fountains
at the Bellagio. The evenings are the best time to see this wonderful water
show. Watch as the fountains spray water in time with music. Like pirates?
Head over to TI (formerly known as Treasure Island) to watch the nightly
Sirens of TI show. Shows are free and performed every 30 minutes in the
evenings.
